This is my first blog so I thought of writing something that gives me and my soul pain - "The Pain of My Mother - the pain of INDIA" Since our childhood we are told and taught about India - its Heritage, its People, its Unity. We are taught to nurture the humans and the humanity. But here my question lies "Do we actually love our nation, its pride and the people"
Today, I just can’t sleep coz I am shattered with the thought "Are we the Son of the same mother???” In 1947, ma mother had to cut down her limb due to the political havoc, the limb which we call as Pakistan, the limb we love and the limb we sometimes hate. We love the India-Pakistan cricket match but we hate the terrorist who we consider to be trained in Pakistan. People have become so selfish about their need that they just ignore even a dead human lying beside them. Starting form JAMMU & KASHMIR to that of the recent attack in MUMBAI lives are just been sacrificed in the name of “”JIHAD”” which is supposed to be the emotional crusade for an idea or emotion. Whatever may the idea behind this but it always leaves an abrasion to my mother-MY INDIA .We always feel that good things happen only to others, but we always forget that we are others for someone else.
Today we are fighting for what not reasons just to add something to our benefit, but did any one of us ever thought of doing something for others. We are adding one or the other feather towards our self promotion giving our own self a false credence that it would help my nation at the end but is it actually so. My mind keeps on asking me the same question again and again.
My INDIA is completely offended. Its time for us to act and deliver. Would have you been sitting back at your couch if someone had slapped your mother. The recent attack was an example of the same. So if we wouldn’t have sat once someone have had slapped then why are we sitting when few handful of people in the name of “”JIHAD”” from the outside world are making us prey for their illogical belief.
It’s my request to all you INDIANS to come out from your secured shell and fight against this cause. The cause to save my mother - “”MY INDIA””...
